Tutorial 3

This tutorial shows 4 different techniques to explore :

• apply the techniques of Masking and Alpha Channel
• the use of advanced filter effects
• techniques of applying the text tools with effects
• compositing the image inside the text

Learning Outcome :
understanding of basic masking editing and compositing techniques using mask, filters and brush effects, applying blending on layer image as part of effect techniques.

Step that i use for this tutorial :

1) create new layer and copy the path that already in the file and paste it as white to the new layer.

2) Then add another new channel
3)Then create lines through the text to blend it well with the wall.Use Mezzotint to make it realistic.After that, I used Gaussian blur to soften the sharp edges.
4)Make the original selection of the text in the new mask layer in Channel. Then stroke it in the center and put some Spatter on it.
5)Lastly,use blending option to adjust the underlying color.
